Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luís Hernandez got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Adolfo Galindo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Luís Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Adolfo Galindo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gavino Peru charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Peru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Peru. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Luís Hernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Luís Hernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Hernandez. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Luís Hernandez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Hernandez in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Luís Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Luís Hernandez scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Hernandez in the 58th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. In the 63rd minute, Ciro Ostadar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Burris. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Galindo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Paulo Rosio made a huge save. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Rosio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Luís Hernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 81 minutes of play Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Adolfo Galindo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Adolfo Galindo hit a great ball. Pepe Burris got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luís Hernandez. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pepe Burris during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luís Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pepe Burris made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luís Hernandez. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atletas Campesinos F.C..
