Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugon Pincoski went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute of the match, Tomasz Burufski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 35 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariusz Nalaskowski who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boguslaw Zawaski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play.

GORNIK PIASKI's Boguslaw Zawaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boguslaw Zawaski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A well done corner resulted in Şamil Başsoy drilling the ball in to score 2-2 behind Ecuador's goalkeeper. Papi Erős sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boguslaw Zawaski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
