Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modesto Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrecifes's players had a chance to rest. Pantelis Christopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Cirilo Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arif Ozan Oğuztan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Ozan Oğuztan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cirilo Ritchie made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Carlos Eufrasio however managed to control. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A well placed Carlos Eufrasio short distance shot in the 42nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. If Carlos Eufrasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Raul Vigil. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Eufrasio to make the kick off. Carlos Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Ritchie in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modesto Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrecifes's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Modesto Gipuzkoa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 56 minutes into the game, Raul Vigil threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Axel Montenegro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 58th minute Cirilo Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Luis Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arrecifes's Felipe Senon was substituted for Cirilo Ritchie. Arrecifes's Cadfan Cornell was substituted for Carlos Eufrasio. Arrecifes made a substitution. Hipolito Laurendi replaced Natanael Matorin. After 64 minutes of play, Arrecifes's Felipe Senon made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Felipe Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes of play, Arrecifes's Felipe Senon made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Senon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrecifes were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modesto Gipuzkoa took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Modesto Gipuzkoa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 87 minutes, Felipe Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Senon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cadfan Cornell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Mastache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Ozan Oğuztan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arrecifes's Taci Ulusoy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 94th minute of the game. The supporters of Colombia booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Roldanillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arrecifes.
