Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno do Nascimento in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Bermudo in the 7th minute of play. Tenorio Urrue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Bermudo in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Guararapes defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeu Guedes. The Guararapes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Guedes should have stopped the shot. With splendid footwork Vinicio Bermudo arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 27th minute. After some careless play in the Guararapes defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeu Guedes. The Guararapes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Guedes should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Ragıp Işık notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragıp Işık in the 42nd minute of play. Alan Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Vinicio Bermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Vinicio Bermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinicio Bermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Bermudo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guararapes's Romeu Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Guararapes from getting a goal against them. Romeu Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 67th minute. Claudio Graziano struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guararapes. Guararapes's Francisco Rencio was substituted for Ragıp Işık. Guararapes's José Pedro Cardozo was substituted for Nuno do Nascimento. In the 82nd minute of the match Chile got a corner. Guararapes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guararapes's Romeu Guedes did a great save. 91 minutes into the match, Guararapes's goalkeeper Romeu Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Casaus. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guararapes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Carballar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romeu Guedes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Diogo Alagoano made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which José Pedro Cardozo however managed to control. Romeu Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guararapes.
