Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cesar Boniel got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of FMArgentina booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Puig scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes FMArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Boniel. FMArgentina's Andres Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 23rd minute of play. Hugo Ferrant charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Ferrant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Chumo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 36th minute of play. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Cesar Boniel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 42nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Boniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Chumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Machado having to interfere. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Lautaro Puig made a precise shot to the right of Andres Machado. FMArgentina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 71 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's goalkeeper Andres Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. FMArgentina's Andres Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FMArgentina from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FMArgentina's Cesar Boniel in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Costa Rica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FMArgentina side.
