Jeronimo Cresconio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Zâncă came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes MILAN COLOMBIANO got a freekick which was hit by Umar Gol. In the 11th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Zâncă in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Eusebiu Zâncă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Luz Tejedor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Cresconio was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After some careless play in the MILAN COLOMBIANO defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Cresconio. The MILAN COLOMBIANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Cresconio should have stopped the shot. Eusebiu Zâncă scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 37th minute of play forced MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Jeronimo Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Petri came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luz Tejedor scored 2-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeronimo Cresconio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Victoriano Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cândido Petri to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Victoriano Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MILAN COLOMBIANO's Jeronimo Cresconio got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Petri in the 55th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Zâncă in the 58th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Petri in the 61st minute of the match. Cândido Petri took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Alfons Wennerlund was substituted for Victoriano Chano. MILAN COLOMBIANO made a substitution. Arnaldo Ortega replaced Eusebiu Zâncă. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Tebaldo went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 88th minute of play forced MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Jeronimo Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Cresconio having to interfere. The MILAN COLOMBIANO support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
