Abraham Alguacil might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tom Bur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 18 played minutes Riala Goif got a freekick which was hit by Francois Ballette. Tomas Berganza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ingvar Söderlund kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Riala Goif's Tom Bur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 30th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Van Lentz in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Tom Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 72 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Riala Goif players grew even worse after the yellow card.
