Wild Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Markel in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Markel made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Orlando Casaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Abraão. Wild Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Casaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 58 minutes into the match, Wild Boys's goalkeeper Claudinho Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 59th match minute, Wild Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Markel to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinho Abraão having to make a save. Claudinho Abraão made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Abraão.
