Rafinha Queiroz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Davies to maneuver through the defense. Tarcisio Vaz struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CorinGunners F.C.. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, CorinGunners F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Davies came free, but Arthur Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocco Owen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When CorinGunners F.C.'s Tarcisio Vaz in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Cássio Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Cássio Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Stanley Wallace's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Neves was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Quintal in the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Jordan Porter in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CorinGunners F.C.'s Agnaldo Falcão. In the 76th minute, Rafinha Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanley Wallace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Arthur Neves made a huge save. When Jordan Porter fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Jordan Porter a yellow card for diving instead.
