An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 5th minute of play forced αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goalkeeper Daniël Isla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goalkeeper Daniël Isla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniël Isla was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniël Isla saved αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ from getting behind. In the 13th minute of the match USA got a corner. αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's George Lucas got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Don Cañon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Don Cañon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's George Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Don Cañon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniël Isla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 36th minute of the match. Daniël Isla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 39th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Esteve Lando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniël Isla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 42nd minute of the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Bladi in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goalkeeper Daniël Isla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Lucas made a kick off. Koby Fletcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniël Isla having to interfere. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Monty Rogers sped through αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniël Isla. Daniël Isla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniël Isla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassius Byrne's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Daniël Isla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 71st minute of play. George Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Daniël Isla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. USA had played much better football throughout.
