Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thomas Verheydt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thomas Verheydt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. The Vampiros Aztecas fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Vampiros Aztecas's Dé Töpper looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Macedonio Fonticoba came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Verheydt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Verheydt in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Verheydt got free with Julio Vera in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Chayo having to interfere. Vampiros Aztecas made a substitution. Benjamin Wood replaced Thomas Verheydt. Macedonio Fonticoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Chayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Chayo having to interfere. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Juan Chayo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Weyand in the 95th minute of play. Ecuador played a much better game than Vampiros Aztecas and deserved their victory. The Vampiros Aztecas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
