Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thomas Verheydt took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Niklas Sule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vampiros Aztecas's Juan Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Juan Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Verheydt. In the 14th minute Macedonio Fonticoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vampiros Aztecas's Leif Jonasson got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Chayo. Juan Chayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thomas Verheydt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vampiros Aztecas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 武 曹操 in the 31st minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macedonio Fonticoba in the 34th minute of play. Macedonio Fonticoba struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vampiros Aztecas. In the 41st minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dé Töpper fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Juan Chayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vampiros Aztecas's Benjamin Wood was substituted for Thomas Verheydt. If Macedonio Fonticoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Macedonio Fonticoba struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. In the 76th minute Macedonio Fonticoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vampiros Aztecas were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 武 曹操 took the corner. The Vampiros Aztecas fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Vampiros Aztecas's Rolf Weyand looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniel Zorita in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Chayo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Weyand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benjamin Wood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vampiros Aztecas succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
