Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Githinji Muhoho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Çakabey Sirer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Taşçıspor's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Tony Githinji Muhoho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Githinji Muhoho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Githinji Muhoho. Tony Githinji Muhoho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Taşçıspor made a substitution. Mustafa Jamil replaced Çakabey Sirer. The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kylian Charreton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taşçıspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mitchell Godwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Taşçıspor's goalkeeper Tony Githinji Muhoho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. USA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
