Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 9th minute of the match. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Alguacil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Abraham Alguacil did an outstanding performance 17 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-2 to the right of an irritated Yusuf Ziya Sertaç in the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tomas Berganza sped through S.João de Areias's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yusuf Ziya Sertaç. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Ziya Sertaç having to interfere. Igor Prestes's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to S.João de Areias getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Igor Prestes hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yusuf Ziya Sertaç was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 35 minutes into the game, Matthew Garrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.João de Areias the free kick. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 42nd minute of play. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 43rd minute of play. S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferenc van Nistelrooij to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Ferenc van Nistelrooij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yusuf Ziya Sertaç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Aznar in the 58th minute of play. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yusuf Ziya Sertaç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of S.João de Areias booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. When Ferenc van Nistelrooij fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.João de Areias's protests and gave Ferenc van Nistelrooij a yellow card for diving instead. Ferenc van Nistelrooij kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yusuf Ziya Sertaç saved S.João de Areias from getting behind. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 75th minute of the match. S.João de Areias's Yusuf Ziya Sertaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 77th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Yusuf Ziya Sertaç successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferenc van Nistelrooij in the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Aaron Barrios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.João de Areias the free kick. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. S.João de Areias's Bonifacio Aznar got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Bonifacio Aznar sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
