He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. Sture Hellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Sture Hellbom got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 24th match minute before Lautaro Navarro had time to react. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Billesholm's Sture Hellbom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Sture Hellbom recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Sture Hellbom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sture Hellbom went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute Sture Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sture Hellbom to make the kick off. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st match minute, Billesholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. It was a penalty for Honduras! Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Chris Cross:s penalty. 84 minutes into the match, Billesholm's goalkeeper Axel Kinnman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. 89 minutes into the game, Freddie Mellin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billesholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Freddie Mellin kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Billesholm's Knut Danielsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Knut Danielsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot.
