Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hannes Jamieson made the kick off and thus started the match. Urmas Känsäkangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Urmas Känsäkangas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Hannes Jamieson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 17th minute Mathias-Alexander Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. After having played for 22 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urmas Känsäkangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 28th minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, SK Gullegem's Mathias-Alexander Jamieson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bram Jamieson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jacky Jamieson hit a great ball. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute really tested Urmas Känsäkangas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bram Jamieson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute of the match SK Gullegem got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Renan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Bruno Renan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in SK Gullegem's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urmas Känsäkangas came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hannes Jamieson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathias-Alexander Jamieson's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Urmas Känsäkangas however easily saved by the left post. The SK Gullegem fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when SK Gullegem's Mathias-Alexander Jamieson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 92 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, SK Gullegem could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
