Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Severino Bueno took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 5th minute. Aaron Tanti made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Bueno in the 10th minute of play. Joshua Secada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Aaron Tanti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Bueno in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 27 minutes, Vilmos Szikora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eleven Young Elephants and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Eleven Young Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Vilmos Szikora. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Eleven Young Elephants:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. Enzo Perez's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Perez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Eleven Young Elephants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Perez to maneuver through the defense. Vilmos Szikora made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fabio Savona immediately put the ball in play. Aaron Tanti made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Eleven Young Elephants's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Aaron Tanti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Aaron Tanti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 52nd match minute, Eleven Young Elephants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Bueno to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rdth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eleven Young Elephants's Aaron Tanti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 66th minute. Severino Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 69 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Eleven Young Elephants's Aaron Tanti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Darren Carabott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Eleven Young Elephants getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Vilmos Szikora hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Tanti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Darren Carabott who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Venezuela's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
