Patricio Costa scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Euloxu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Euloxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪'s Francisco Euloxu. Francisco Euloxu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Euloxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Alex Chicote with Patricio Costa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪'s Anastasio Bibiano got a free kick in the 68th minute. With 70 minutes on the clock, Nicanor Oliverios commited a dangerous tackle. Francisco Euloxu came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. When the match was over Venezuela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪ throughout the match.
