With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Vicente Taveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amauri van Beek did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 15 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, 秦浩洲 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Brites having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when 秦浩洲 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Mira Sintra's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but João Brites reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Saelices in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Brites prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Mira Sintra got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wendy Irama ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mira Sintra's Wendy Irama was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amauri van Beek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Amauri van Beek sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of João Brites when he managed to save the team from getting behind. João Brites stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 5-1 to the left of him in the 53 minute. A hard shot 57 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented João Brites managed to make a qualified save. Mira Sintra's players were relieved. Felix Montenegro in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 87th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Brites saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Brites, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Mira Sintra support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
