Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Eufrasio started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Arif Ozan Oğuztan in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arrecifes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 9th minute Carlos Eufrasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Ritchie scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arif Ozan Oğuztan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Arif Ozan Oğuztan came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 42 minutes into the game, Raul Vigil threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Carlos Eufrasio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The Peru players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arrecifes were winning 1-2.

Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pantelis Christopoulos in the 57 minute of the game. Arrecifes's Hipolito Laurendi was substituted for Natanael Matorin. Arrecifes made a substitution. Cadfan Cornell replaced Carlos Eufrasio. Arrecifes made a substitution. Felipe Senon replaced Cirilo Ritchie. In the 62nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Arrecifes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felipe Senon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 68th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Arrecifes's goalie and right to Emmanuel Reyes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Arrecifes's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The throw-in from Emmanuel Reyes in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Arrecifes's Modesto Gipuzkoa. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin De Bruyne in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Eliseo Mina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Felipe Senon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arif Ozan Oğuztan having to make a save. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Arrecifes to leave the ground with a draw.
