Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Timo Rokmann hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunvald Glarkrog read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunvald Glarkrog having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Timo Rokmann got a free kick in the 12th minute. Strib Galacticos IF's attentive Valdemar Ginhart managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Gunvald Glarkrog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Zhao Xiong Han managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strib Galacticos IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhao Xiong Han was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes Strib Galacticos IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 31st minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Strib Galacticos IF's goalie prevented a goal. Gunvald Glarkrog stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunvald Glarkrog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres Oper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunvald Glarkrog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivart Djursgård to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gunvald Glarkrog didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gunvald Glarkrog was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 73 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Ginhart. Strib Galacticos IF made a substitution. Reinhard Duse replaced Davide Ubriaco. Strib Galacticos IF's Sonni Engklint was substituted for Asım Arif Akatay. Valdemar Ginhart hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Gunvald Glarkrog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of the match. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdemar Ginhart hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Sonni Engklint kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Strib Galacticos IF throughout the match.
