Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Justo Ruy made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Justo Ruy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 7 minutes NUMBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that NUMBA's Justo Ruy managed to reach the ball for a save. 12 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justo Ruy. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Sadurni in the 17th minute of play. Edmund Wierzcholek was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justo Ruy having to make a save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Palban in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Palban in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Ruy having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Palban came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Palban took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 28th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Palban in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Palban in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Palban in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Santiago Abastas got a free kick in the 39th minute. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Ruy having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonatan Palban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Fabio Sadurni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. After 55 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Aztore who took care of the corner kick. The corner led NUMBA's Daniel Aztore to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montes during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Sadurni's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Jonatan Palban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Justo Ruy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play forced NUMBA's goalkeeper Justo Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Daniel Aztore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Palban struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NUMBA. After 83 minutes, Roberto Eusko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NUMBA and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, NUMBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Eusko to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of NUMBA booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
