Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aristide Ciuvică kicked off to start the match. Aristide Ciuvică took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 6 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the México Eterno MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by México Eterno MZC's Aristide Ciuvică. But to his dismay, Aristide Ciuvică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Aristide Ciuvică's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Gamache in the 12th minute of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Aristide Ciuvică sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 18 minutes into the game, Aristide Ciuvică cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristide Ciuvică might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristide Ciuvică ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Ciuvică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Aristide Ciuvică made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 30th minute, Aristide Ciuvică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 31st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Aristide Ciuvică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristide Ciuvică went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Aristide Ciuvică blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 45th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristide Ciuvică might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristide Ciuvică ran back to his position shaking his head. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. México Eterno MZC were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Aristide Ciuvică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 57 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. México Eterno MZC's Tony Chaves was substituted for Ignacio Quiroga. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 59th minute. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristide Ciuvică's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Aristide Ciuvică made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Richart Richardsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Richart Richardsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Richart Richardsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Efrain Moruga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jailson Aparecido skillfully saved the ball. Richart Richardsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Richart Richardsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The México Eterno MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded México Eterno MZC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
