Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Di Giambattista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of DESTROYER booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Di Giambattista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. DESTROYER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, DESTROYER's Gaztea Mendez got a free kick in the 78th minute.
