In the 6th minute, David Burger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Samuel Navarro got a free kick in the 7th minute. Orhan Yaren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Tipi came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15th play minutes Norberto Tipi shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Pedro Manzanares and just under the crossbar into goal. Abdurrahim Kutlualp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 18th minute of play. Abdurrahim Kutlualp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of play forced Candar SK's goalkeeper Abdurrahim Kutlualp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Candar SK's Abdurrahim Kutlualp. Abdurrahim Kutlualp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osman Ali Köksal made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. 31 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Abdurrahim Kutlualp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 34th minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the game, Norberto Tipi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Norberto Tipi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orhan Yaren got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Colombia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Candar SK:s goal. The supporters of Colombia booed when Candar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Ali Köksal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Orhan Yaren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orhan Yaren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Tipi in the 59th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 5-2 became the score in the 63rd minute when Orhan Yaren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Norberto Tipi notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orhan Yaren in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Tipi in the 83rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game, Norberto Tipi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Norberto Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, Norberto Tipi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Candar SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
