Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hans-Jürgen Nudelman scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 6 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrizio Ravanelli. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Nordgren got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 9 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Walter Siggman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. After having played for 18 minutes, Hans-Jürgen Nudelman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samyang Ramen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Jürgen Nudelman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Fabrizio Ravanelli sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrizio Ravanelli. The supporters of Samyang Ramen booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Walter Siggman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Samyang Ramen booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Hans-Jürgen Nudelman from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Marcos Cotilla's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fabrizio Ravanelli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcos Cotilla firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fabrizio Ravanelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Ravanelli in the 46th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Ravanelli in the 57th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. Samyang Ramen made a substitution. Bo-Erik Apelkvist replaced Fabrizio Ravanelli. 66 minutes into the match, Walter Siggman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Siggman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Hans-Jürgen Nudelman fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samyang Ramen's protests and gave Hans-Jürgen Nudelman a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Samyang Ramen got a freekick which was hit by Hans-Jürgen Nudelman. In the 74th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo-Erik Apelkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Holmgren in the 82nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Hans-Jürgen Nudelman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samyang Ramen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hans-Jürgen Nudelman in the 84th minute. Miguel Miralles charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Miralles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Sam Yang sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sam Yang in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Bo-Erik Apelkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Yang in the 94th minute of play. Hans-Jürgen Nudelman got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Samyang Ramen fully deserved thier win.
