An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso de la Cruz in the 10th minute of play forced CA La Chola's goalkeeper Juan Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA La Chola's Juan Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alejandro Villa got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the CA La Chola defense, Eduardo Fontirroig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Bide. The CA La Chola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Bide should have stopped the shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Aquilino Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA La Chola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Rafe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, CA La Chola's Aurelio Cordaryal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aurelio Cordaryal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CA La Chola protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aurelio Cordaryal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to CA La Chola getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Samuel Mateo hit a great ball. Juan Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gallo. Juan Bide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Fontirroig went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaron Urki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, CA La Chola's goalkeeper Juan Bide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso de la Cruz. Ismael Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Urki in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Freixa saved Bolivia from getting behind. After having played for 68 minutes, Eliseo Oriol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA La Chola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Oriol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Bide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Juan Bide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Chicote in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Bolivia's Julio Chicote dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 87th minute, Felipe Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CA La Chola's Andy Josefsson was substituted for Filippo Crispino. Felipe Vimaro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Anselmo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, CA La Chola's Anselmo Arias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Freixa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Arias came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolivia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
