Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhou Kang Cheng made a kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warman de Jager in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's Arnold Hemmen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnold Hemmen went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the game, Albertus FC's Arnold Hemmen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Ted Stroobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijsbert Bults didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Zhou Kang Cheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Gijsbert Bults made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Warman de Jager. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhou Kang Cheng in the 82nd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warman de Jager in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Zhou Kang Cheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Stroobos having to interfere.
