In the 28th minute, Socanelas FC's Tanek Dziechciowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tanek Dziechciowski in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Tande made a huge save. In the 51st minute, Agustín Saelices reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edvaldo Tande. The goal made the score 1-2. Edvaldo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Dziechciowski in the 66th minute of play. The goal made the score 1-3. 92 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Socanelas FC's Edvaldo Tande. Edvaldo Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Dziechciowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Socanelas FC throughout the match.
