Didrik Faldal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Liam Beard recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Liam Beard showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Didrik Faldal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svetaslav Navojka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Lilienvald in the 34th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Østerlars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Svetaslav Navojka in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Liam Beard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Didrik Faldal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Rouco's late challenge caught a AC Østerlars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Xurxo Lagala made the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Beard in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Liam Beard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0.
