The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Warman de Jager got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ted Stroobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Stroobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 22nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Albertus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Stroobos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Zhou Kang Cheng sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Warman de Jager made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnold Hemmen in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Theissen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ted Stroobos. Albertus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.

60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zhou Kang Cheng came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Hemmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Arnold Hemmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Arnold Hemmen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gijsbert Bults during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijsbert Bults didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gijsbert Bults hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Albertus FC's Zhou Kang Cheng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After a rather tough play, Albertus FC's Arnold Hemmen got a free kick in the 86th minute. There was no doubt that Albertus FC were the better team. Albertus FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
