Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Colas in the 21st minute of play. Luis Erramun's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Erramun helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Peru booed when Acercate Y Patea de Lejos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Erramun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 24th minute of play. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emilio Munio firmly grabbed it by the left post. The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Erramun to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Federico Colas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Colas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Primitivo Jatsu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos made a substitution. Danilo Errolan replaced Damian Su. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Javier Milei was substituted for Teodosio Bilintx. A collision led to Acercate Y Patea de Lejos getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Marco Mota hit a great ball. Emilio Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emilio Munio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Luz Tejedor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Munio came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Kraig Rowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Emilio Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Munio. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig Rowley in the 92nd minute of the match. Peru's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
