Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off which started today's match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Pellen in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 9th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Pellen, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Marquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Arnaldo Marquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sven-Olof Sjöberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Danilo Testa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 26th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Pellen in the 30th minute of play. Danilo Testa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Colombia's Axel Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 40th minute of play. Danilo Testa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes, Sven-Olof Sjöberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marciano Lekubegi hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Danilo Testa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Porfirio. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Marquez was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Bielejewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelaria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. The supporters of Colombia booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Bielejewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa. Danilo Testa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Arnaldo Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Candelaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Marquez couldn't finish the play. Candelaria FC's Danilo Testa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Sjöberg notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Pellen in the 65th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Candelaria FC's Christian Gómez was substituted for Sven-Olof Sjöberg. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Okanalp Özdil replaced Arnaldo Marquez. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Antonio Alzamendi replaced Bart Pellen. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Alzamendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Candelaria FC's Christian Gómez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Okanalp Özdil took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After 79 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. Danilo Testa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Candelaria FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Okanalp Özdil came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Candelaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Okanalp Özdil couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Matthijs Dekens in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Abram Secada. In the 90th minute, Antonio Alzamendi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil. But to his dismay, Okanalp Özdil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Antonio Alzamendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Candelaria FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
