With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when 浙江绍兴红日队's 楚耀凡 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 楚耀凡 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by 楚耀凡 in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, 楚耀凡 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 浙江绍兴红日队 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience was convinced that 楚耀凡's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Mei Jing Yuan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 白默斐 scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Darius McRaild got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. 白默斐 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 57th minute 楚耀凡 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Darius McRaild ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 楚耀凡 scored 6-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If 白默斐 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darius McRaild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Mei Jing Yuan made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mei Jing Yuan went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 浙江绍兴红日队's 雷风森 was substituted for 楚耀凡. In the 84th minute 雷风森 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mei Jing Yuan was slow to take the kick. During this time 浙江绍兴红日队's players had a chance to rest. When 傅洲强 got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for 浙江绍兴红日队. Ni Bo Ting struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 浙江绍兴红日队. Mei Jing Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 雷风森 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Mei Jing Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that 浙江绍兴红日队 were the better team. 浙江绍兴红日队's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
