Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romulo Hodei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The Foot Fighters fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Foot Fighters's Romulo Hodei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute Romulo Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Hodei succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Hodei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Romulo Hodei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Joshua Curbelo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Foot Fighters's Ricardo Zorita threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romulo Hodei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jesus Carvallo hit a great ball. After 37 minutes, Abram Luque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Foot Fighters players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Oihan in the 40th minute of play. Mateo Leguizamo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raimundo Giraldo. Foot Fighters's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Hodei in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Hodei in the 54th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Foot Fighters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Hodei's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Foot Fighters's Romulo Hodei. But to his dismay, Romulo Hodei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When Foot Fighters's Romulo Hodei in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. Raimundo Giraldo was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Moises Fernandino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moises Fernandino really showed his touch with that goal: 9-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Foot Fighters fully deserved thier win.
