After a rather tough play, Blue Angels's Oscar Lindström got a free kick in the 10th minute. Mariano Lacasa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angel-Enrique Comizzo. Blue Angels's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Skark. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Björk in the 15th minute of the match. Chile were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Blue Angels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mariano Lacasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angel-Enrique Comizzo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Figueroa in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrik Skark showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 58 minutes Blue Angels's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. When Patrik Skark came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Blue Angels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Skark couldn't finish the play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Berg in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 71st minute of play forced Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel-Enrique Comizzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Björk in the 80th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Bangsbo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Blue Angels's Johan Bangsbo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Guillermo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
