Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Damian Wills kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jürgen Rondinelli got free with Benito Sanz in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match, Damian Wills tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jürgen Rondinelli took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 28th minute. Luca Kopp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Wills in the 35th minute of the match. Jürgen Rondinelli scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Friedel Aschwanden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Wills in the 43rd minute of play. If Gordon Scenna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Aus Ende Vorbei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Jürgen Rondinelli took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Jürgen Rondinelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Jürgen Rondinelli made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Friedel Aschwanden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Aus Ende Vorbei's Abraham Pfenniger in action when he in the 68th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jürgen Rondinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jürgen Rondinelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Damian Wills had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Wills was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 80th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Wills in the 81st minute of the match. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Jürgen Rondinelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jürgen Rondinelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jürgen Rondinelli went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute, Domenico Verna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Aus Ende Vorbei's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
