Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ambrosio Aragones sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Aragones in the 16th minute of the match. Stefan Zdanowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Aragones got free with Dante Lacasa in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Zdanowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC JaRo Team's Zachariasz Rekawiczka got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Iwo Werra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Aragones could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 38th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC JaRo Team getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Zygmunt Kornecki hit a great ball. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Stefan Zdanowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrosio Aragones stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC JaRo Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stefan Zdanowicz quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Zygmunt Kornecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Zygmunt Kornecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ambrosio Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. FC JaRo Team's György Pócsi was substituted for Zygmunt Kornecki. A collision led to FC JaRo Team getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ambrosio Aragones hit a great ball. Remond Reintjes's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remond Reintjes helped the player get up and apologised. Remond Reintjes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Aragones in the 74th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Roman Tomiczek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC JaRo Team's Cezary Pierz was substituted for Ambrosio Aragones. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Pócsi in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, György Pócsi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that György Pócsi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
