Foot Fighters's Raimundo Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Foot Fighters's goalkeeper Raimundo Giraldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finlay Stair. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finlay Stair in the 28th minute of play forced Foot Fighters's goalkeeper Raimundo Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Gitano hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Benicio Oihan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 36th minute, Babbis Serafidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foot Fighters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 39 minutes into the game, Leron Sale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foot Fighters the free kick. Leron Sale hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romon Oliver got free with Raimundo Giraldo in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leron Sale got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 47 played minutes, Foot Fighters's Valentin Gitano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Foot Fighters reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karlus Waugh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Benicio Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Romulo Hodei took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Demonde Jacobson to make any attempt to save it. In the 60th minute, Babbis Serafidis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Demonde Jacobson. The goal made the score 0-7. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Oihan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Oihan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Foot Fighters got a corner. Jamaica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ovidio Urko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Foot Fighters's Ovidio Urko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Demonde Jacobson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Gitano in the 74th minute. Jamaall Padmore hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. José Augusto Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Romulo Hodei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demonde Jacobson was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Benicio Oihan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Foot Fighters's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Babbis Serafidis kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Foot Fighters's Raimundo Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarell Hill in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes in the game, Romulo Hodei fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Iliana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romulo Hodeis short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Demonde Jacobson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute, Jamaica's Geroy Ascue seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Geroy Ascue the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jamaica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Geroy Ascue had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Foot Fighters booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geroy Ascue didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Foot Fighters's Romulo Hodei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Foot Fighters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
