Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tord Gustafsson kicked off to start the match. Tord Fors came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Smurfarna's Robbie Prima got a free kick in the 18th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Smurfarna's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Tord Fors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Gustafsson in the 30th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tord Gustafsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Smurfarna's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Smurfarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bekir Vural didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Smurfarna's Tord Fors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Smurfarna from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tord Fors. Tord Fors yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Smurfarna's goalkeeper Tord Fors had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A collision led to Smurfarna getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Robbie Prima hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robbie Prima during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Smurfarna's Robbie Prima got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tord Fors made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens Björling's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 78 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bekir Vural who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Smurfarna's Bekir Vural to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tord Fors came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Smurfarna's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Smurfarna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 85th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Smurfarna's Tord Gustafsson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Tord Gustafsson notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
