After 16 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. The audience was convinced that Xavi Orange's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Tapani Walker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Neto made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavi Orange in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Siro Lartaun hit a great ball. Xavi Orange scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavi Orange in the 33rd minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavi Orange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Xavi Orange had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavi Orange was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xavi Orange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Xavi Orange kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavi Orange in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Xavi Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavi Orange in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Xavi Orange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Tapani Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavi Orange in the 79th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Xavi Orange left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavi Orange, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Uruguay's much stronger midfield.
