Davi Dal Bello scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leopoldo Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Dal 3ello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Dal Bello in the 13th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Natan Lamonica, made in the 17th minute of the game. Dal 3ello's Ediberto Pena managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 19 minute of the game. Davi Dal Bello took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 23 minutes into the game, Natan Lamonica threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 25 minutes in the game Diogo Dal Bello did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ediberto Pena. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Loureiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Dal Bello in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Davi Dal Bello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Davi Dal Bello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dal 3ello's Ronaldo Dal Bello was substituted for Leopoldo Loureiro. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Dal Bello to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Dal Bello came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Dal Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Felipe Dal Bello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Dal Bello succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 75th playminute. In the 84th minute, Ronaldo Dal Bello reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 0-7. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Dal Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ediberto Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Igor Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dal 3ello were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
