Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Yetkiner Yasun started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 4th minute of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu got control of the ball when Felix Luque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lutanu's Yetkiner Yasun. But to his dismay, Yetkiner Yasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 17th minute. Irinel Soneriu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Romaşcanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Costin Uncheşelu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irinel Soneriu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Romaşcanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irinel Soneriu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Irinel Soneriu quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Irinel Soneriu. That made the score 2-2 after 39 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, FC Lutanu's Robert Stârcea got a free kick in the 41st minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Soneriu having to interfere. Octav Romaşcanu's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octav Romaşcanu helped the player get up and apologised. Octav Romaşcanu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Irinel Soneriu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 57 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irinel Soneriu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Irinel Soneriu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo scored 3-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irinel Soneriu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Yetkiner Yasun sent off a good shot on target. Irinel Soneriu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irinel Soneriu saved FC Lutanu from getting behind. In the 79th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Soneriu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Irinel Soneriu having to make a save. Facundo Cadaval blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Irinel Soneriu having to make a save. After a rather tough play, FC Lutanu's Octav Romaşcanu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
