Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arif Ozan Oğuztan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Ozan Oğuztan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Arif Ozan Oğuztan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modesto Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrecifes's players had a chance to rest. Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's Kevin De Bruyne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arrecifes were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modesto Gipuzkoa took the corner. The corner led to Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Cirilo Ritchie struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrecifes. 29 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Cirilo Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Ritchie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orlando Casaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Arif Ozan Oğuztan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Ritchie might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Arrecifes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Modesto Gipuzkoa in the 38th minute. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Arif Ozan Oğuztan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Oğuztan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Chile's Felix Garrido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Taci Ulusoy in the 44 minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Eufrasio made a kick off. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eufrasio in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cirilo Ritchie hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arif Ozan Oğuztan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Arrecifes's Carlos Eufrasio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arrecifes made a substitution. Felipe Senon replaced Cirilo Ritchie. Arrecifes's Taci Ulusoy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Garrido in the 68 minute of the game. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Senon in the 72nd minute. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Ozan Oğuztan came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After having played for 79 minutes, Felipe Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Senon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Arrecifes's corner Modesto Gipuzkoa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Felipe Senon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Raul Vigil. The free kick in the 89th minute by Raul Vigil was well hit, but to his irritation, it went to the left of the post instead of in the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's Felipe Senon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chile fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arrecifes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
