Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eliseo Arano made the kick off which started today's match. If Octavio Orlondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Eliseo Arano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Inocencio Raulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Inocencio Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of the match. Inocencio Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Eliseo Arano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Inocencio Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by SIDI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. SIDI's Inocencio Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. Inocencio Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of the match. Eliseo Arano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Octavio Orlondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes SIDI got a freekick which was hit by Justo Ignado.

In the 52nd minute, Agustín Saelices fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Inocencio Raulo, passed just outside the right post. In the 54th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. SIDI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Inocencio Raulo quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to SIDI getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Octavio Orlondo hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Lizer in the 59th minute of play. If Guido Lizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Raulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play. Eliseo Arano scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Arano in the 69th minute of play. Eliseo Arano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Orlondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Eliseo Arano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SIDI's Ronald Lammens was substituted for Eliseo Arano. SIDI made a substitution. Rafael Marquéz replaced Clodoveo Mogel. In the 91st minute, Ronald Lammens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Inocencio Raulo made a huge save. In the 93rd minute Ronald Lammens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Lammens in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SIDI.
