Alberto Tafalla scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viriato Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ were awarded a corner. 冯霆阳 went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Pantoflaras in the 17th minute of play. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Viriato Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Kyriakos Georgopoulos. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viriato Cruz was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viriato Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ made a substitution. Alexis Thessalonikios replaced Thymios Pantoflaras. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Alketas Anastasakos got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Viriato Cruz in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Georgopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viriato Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mexico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viriato Cruz. That made the score 1-2 in the 74 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexis Thessalonikios in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Thessalonikios in the 84th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Louis Drakopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viriato Cruz. Alberto Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Georgopoulos in the 93rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
