Buster Haarby charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Andino during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jungle Circus's Doğukan Artan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Jungle Circus from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Doğukan Artan in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Jungle Circus to leave the ground with a draw.
