Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) In the 6thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Giacometti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gregor Kobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Berset, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregor Kobel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Rogelio Montez made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game Ingo Minder did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marco Odermatt. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gregor Kobel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingo Minder hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gregor Kobel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gregor Kobel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 94th minute. When Nino Schurter came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Espen Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nino Schurter couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
