Jungle Circus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Csaba Kossuth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Csaba Kossuth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğukan Artan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Csaba Kossuth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jungle Circus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malte Eriksen in the 37th minute. Dirch Pilbak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Dirch Pilbak slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Csaba Kossuth was the one to do the kick off. Dirch Pilbak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, Jungle Circus's Csaba Kossuth made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Malte Eriksen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buster Haarby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğukan Artan having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirch Pilbak in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Dirch Pilbak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jungle Circus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jungle Circus had played much better football throughout.
