Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Mendes in the 21st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He walked away shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Martijn August's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 30 played minutes FC Bal op het Dak got a freekick which was hit by Joop Bakker.
